1. Significance and Purpose of Occupational Safety and Health
Workers are affected by various occupational conditions, including hazardous and unfavorable factors that can lead to occupational accidents and negatively impact their health. Therefore, they need to be protected from the effects of these factors. Occupational conditions are objectively present. Therefore, occupational safety and health is an objective factor in production and business activities.

At Seico, occupational safety is always a top priority. We are committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees, contributing to ensuring construction progress and project quality.
2. Why is Occupational Safety Important in Pre-Engineered Steel Building Construction?
The pre-engineered steel building construction industry carries many occupational hazards: Due to the nature of working at heights, using heavy machinery and equipment, and handling hazardous materials, pre-engineered steel building construction poses risks of occupational accidents such as falls from heights, collisions, and electrical shocks.

-
Occupational accidents cause serious consequences: Occupational accidents not only affect the health and lives of workers but also cause property damage to the company, impact construction progress, and damage the company's reputation.
-
Occupational safety is the foundation for sustainable development: Ensuring occupational safety helps Seico improve operational efficiency, minimize costs caused by occupational accidents, and build a reputation as a responsible and reliable company.
3. What measures does Seico take to ensure occupational safety in pre-engineered steel building construction?
3.1. Occupational Safety Training
Before working on site, workers receive training to understand the safety regulations for the job.
Disseminate safety regulations to workers
Examples:
-
Workers can only work after receiving safety training and having the necessary PPE (safety shoes, helmets, reflective vests, etc.). When working at heights above 2 meters, they must use safety harnesses.
-
When working at heights, there must be no one working below at the same time. Warning ropes should be placed around the work area at heights.
-
Dangerous areas should be marked with appropriate signs and barriers.
3.2. Provide full personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment is mandatory for all individuals working on site.
Workers are equipped with full PPE before starting work
PPE includes:
- Safety helmet
- Safety shoes or boots: with a steel plate on the toe and sole
- Full-body safety harness: The safety harness must be a full-body type with 2 hooks or a half-body type. Large hooks with adjustable buckles to fit around the body.
- Reflective vests and belts: SEICO
- Protective clothing: SEICO
3.3. Environmental sanitation and fire prevention
- Post signs in areas prone to fire hazards, equip fire fighting equipment such as fire extinguishers, etc.
- When leaving the office, unplug all electrical devices. Do not use a single power outlet for multiple devices at the same time.
- Raise awareness of fire prevention among all workers on site.
- Coordinate with surrounding fire prevention units and local authorities to develop fire prevention plans and coordinate actions in case of an incident.
3.4. Construction safety supervision
Seico has a team of highly qualified construction safety supervisors to monitor and check the implementation of occupational safety measures at the construction site. Construction safety supervisors are responsible for promptly handling any occupational safety violations.
It can be said that occupational safety is always a top priority in the construction industry. Seico is always striving to provide a safe working environment for all employees, construction teams, contributing to ensuring construction progress, project quality, and the company's sustainable development.
